The LSC Challenge is a project-based coding competition for kids in Singapore, designed for children aged 7 to 12 to build creative digital projects in Scratch and Python. Through age-appropriate coding challenges, clear competition guidelines, and transparent judging criteria, young coders can showcase problem-solving skills, logical thinking, creativity, and coding growth in a structured competition experience.
Age Groups
Bringing imaginative animations and interactive stories to life. Students focus on foundational block coding, creative world-building, and essential logic loops.
A dynamic arena for intermediate coders to design multi-level games with advanced mechanics. Students showcase their mastery of variables, broadcast messaging, and clever visual debugging.
A challenging text-based track where analytical thinkers tackle a series of progressive logic puzzles. Students test their real-world coding agility through clean syntax, data structures, and rapid problem-solving.

At the LSC Challenge, evaluation is 100% based on the final live submission within the 120-minute window.

Speed does not matter, and finishing early gives no competitive edge. Instead, our judges evaluate how beautifully participants build, troubleshoot, and polish their projects, tailored entirely to their specific age group and track.
